Effective Date: March 17, 2026
The short version: Noti does not collect any personal data. Your notification content stays between you and your ntfy server. App Store privacy label: Data Not Collected.
Noti is a native macOS menu bar client for the ntfy push notification service, published by 1507 Systems (BPS Enterprises LLC). This privacy policy explains what data Noti collects, stores, and transmits.
Noti does not collect, store, or transmit:
Noti stores the following data locally on your Mac:
Noti makes outbound network connections to exactly three endpoints:
a) Your configured ntfy server (e.g., ntfy.sh or a self-hosted instance)
b) DNS lookup for noti.version.1507.systems
c) feedback.1507.systems
Noti does not contact any analytics services, ad networks, tracking pixels, or telemetry endpoints.
Noti uses Apple's iCloud Key-Value Storage (NSUbiquitousKeyValueStore) to sync non-sensitive settings across your Macs. This includes topic names, server URLs, display preferences, and DND schedules. Authentication tokens are NOT synced via iCloud — they are stored only in the local Keychain on each device.
iCloud sync is governed by Apple's iCloud terms and privacy policy.
Noti has zero third-party dependencies. No analytics SDKs, no crash reporting services, no ad frameworks, no social media SDKs. The only external service Noti communicates with is the ntfy server you configure.
Noti Pro is offered as a one-time in-app purchase through Apple's App Store. Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple and governed by Apple's privacy policy. Noti does not process or store any payment information.
Noti does not collect data from any users, including children. The app does not require account creation or any personal information to function.
If this privacy policy is updated, the effective date at the top will be changed. Significant changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
